An eco-friendly beach tends to be one that is as natural as possible.

“Zero Waste Beach” is our flagship program that aims to reduce plastic marine pollution. We initiated the Program in 2021 in order to protect the turtles, one of the endangered species of Zante.

Our operation as a business, aims to to protect Caretta Caretta (Loggerhead Sea Turtles) and other marine life in and around the island of Zakynthos. Tartarooga Seaside Cocktail Restaurant is at the heart of the Caretta caretta nesting ground, and we are working to ensure that this endangered species is not overlooked. Our aim is to show how conservation and sustainable tourism can work together to benefit visitors, locals, and wildlife alike.
